Many of the drawings were initiated during an artist -in-residency at Headlands Center for the Arts in Sausalito, California in 2011. After the 100 copies of this book were printed, the artist re-worked aspects on each of the 100 page drawings for each copy. Thus no drawing published in any of the books is exactly the same. A different cover was selected for each book which corresponded to the page number of one of the 100 drawings printed. In this instance each individual copy of the  book is an original artwork in itself.
